Established over 30 years ago, Botanical Decorators is a Maryland landscaping firm serving the DC Metropolitan Area. We are a relatively small landscaping design company of about 35 select team players that specializes in the development of fine residential properties. Serving fewer than 100 clients each year, our landscape designers ensure attention to every detail of a project and provide the highest level of customer service.

Many of our jobs are large and complex, but we tackle smaller projects with the same commitment. Our landscape designers strive for great design and installation, using the finest products and materials and addressing each project in a professional manner. We work as a team with the common goal of creating landscapes that are refined, aesthetic, practical, and functional and that enhance the lives of our valued clientele.

Design Process

Our design process is truly one-of-a-kind. It’s unique in that your landscape designer will serve as your single point of contact throughout the entire design and build process to see to every detail of your project. You’ll work together through a series of client meetings combined with a careful site analysis, research, and extensive conceptual thought.

Build Process

No one builds it better than Botanical Decorators. By providing a custom landscape design build service with a single point of contact to offer support, we help our clients in Maryland, Washington, D.C. and Virginia build beautiful landscapes they love. Our build process is extremely detailed and consists of a series of client meetings combined with contracts, pre-construction planning, site walkthroughs, and an extensive warranty. We also offer ongoing maintenance to help you enjoy your landscape for years to come.

Sustainable Design

Sustainable design is an important part of our landscape design service as we strive to use fewer natural resources and create a stronger environment for us all. We provide green building systems, drainage systems that eliminate runoff, and perform soil tests to reduce the amounts of fertilizers and additives needed, among other things.

About Our Landscape Company

Each year, Botanical Decorators earns awards for its services, gaining recognition for the design of arbors; decks; fencing; fireplaces; outdoor kitchens; pathways; patios; pergolas; custom pools; ponds; porches; pool houses; railings; rooftop gardens; walkways; walls; and other outdoor components that can reinforce an incredibly beautiful outdoor landscape. In 2012 alone, we received the PLANET environmental improvement award, as well as several awards in excellence for landscape projects in Alexandria, VA, in addition to other local towns throughout Maryland, Virginia, and Washington DC.

Our residential landscape company also provides excellent horticultural services to discerning clientele and was selected by DIY Network’s Indoors Out show to appear with Dean and Derek during a special segment about a unique stonework backyard project.
