For our recent project in Great Falls/McLean, Virginia, our landscape designers were able to develop a custom outdoor grilling station that was convenient for cooking, but also aesthetically pleasing. The outdoor grill space was unique in that it featured both a Green Egg Grill, which is a ceramic charcoal grill, and a Gas Grill, allowing for flexibility and additional space when grilling outside. The chef can now combine charcoal and gas-based cooking methods to produce a savory combination of flavor in his or her dishes.

Landscapers catered to the cooking desires of our clients, but also created a visual pleasing element within the outdoor grilling space. We incorporated blue countertops into the stone grilling station, designing the space to fit in with the overall hardscape plan of the back yard.  The visual appeal also allowed us to place the grilling station near the house, without detracting from the views of the surrounding landscape.
